SBER | Wave analysis of the ticker

In the last update of January 16, I advised to hold the previously gained October-November longs with targets from 174. Yesterday those targets were met, I now recommend that you start taking profits. Updating of Sberbank on 16th of every 2-3 months are not a fluke, it’s your opportunity to track the chronology of the forecast in the channel.

Sberbank is an S-word bank, and in fact there are now 3 of them has been closed: Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank, Silvergate Bank. Next in line are banks with the word SWISS, and who’s after them? :o)

Since then, you could earn about 40% according to that forecast without margin. It is too early to fix positions now – wait for the area of ​​blue Fibo levels from the chart. There you can start to go out in parts.

Four months ago, an attempt was made to buy Sberbank stocks at 123 rubles (https://t.me/eightyninewaves/2917). And two months ago we were added into a long position from the triangle “b” at 129 (https://t.me/eightyninewaves/3000). Both of these ideas are in work, stop-losses can already be moved to breakeven for both setups. I placed stops on both entries at 123 rubles per share.

I do not consider the banking sector of the Russian Federation a very interesting idea for long-term investment, I am impressed by commodity companies. Therefore, when fulfilling the targets that are indicated on the chart by blue 62% and 100% levels, I will take these longs and look for other ideas – I will tell about them in this group :o)

But before that, let me remind you why I label the stocks of the Russian Federation upwards: sociometers demonstrate apathy towards the stock market, and the “sell Russia” mood reigns in the information agenda, which is, if not high, then very close to them.

#SBER TF: 1D Now let’s look at the charts. If in London Sberbank reset to zero and delisted, then on the Moscow exchange it looks very stable. The flat trend has been going on for two months already, which the exit is planned upwards from, judging by the structure of the fall. I plan to start partially fixing my longs in the area of ​​the wave (b) of [ii]. Well, if the stocks are there this year.

I’ll start with a good one. Sberbank stocks almost showed their low for the coming months. Now bad. But it showed them in rubles, which plans to fall in the coming months.

I continue to recommend staying away from the domestic securities market in 2022, there is nothing to catch here but losses. If you want to take a short, then Ri is better.

No matter how hard I tried to fit Sberbank to my expectations for the domestic market, I failed from the point of view of the internal structure. Yes, the forecast of the fall is coming true, and we have already taken more than 20-25% of reduction (https://t.me/eightyninewaves/2566). But the wave structure does not allow these stocks to bear without two historical highs within the ending diagonal [c].

So I started to cut the short and take profits. From the area [4] of a of (ii) it will be possible to try to take a short again, but we’ll see. Let’s see in the premium channel =)

According to the rule for diagonals (iv)<(ii), we managed to build a trading plan and enter a trade with a good p/1l, you could also earn money as part of a premium subscription.

Now, presumably, the entire diagonal is close to its completion. It is still a little early to short, the stop is far away, so you need to wait for the entry using the trading strategy of the ending diagonals.
